In simple terms, single-sided machine is the mechanical equipment for producing corrugated core paper (corrugated paper in cardboard). In the corrugated packaging industry, it is known as the heart of “corrugated board production line”.
Due to the high energy consumption of single-sided machine, low technical threshold, single-sided machine is only the supplement of corrugated production line – in some small specifications, low grade, domestic carton processing production supporting the use of single-sided machine.
Double – head braiding machine is separable single, double – sided braiding. Only machine needle plate with single or double sided (machine needle plate with single side is thinner, double sided machine needle plate is thicker. From the beginning of knitting single side can also be arbitrarily adjusted to knitting double side.
Single-sided machine structure
The single-sided machine consists of a paper rolling cylinder bracket and a single-sided corrugated forming machine. First, the corrugated core paper is heated, and then the corrugated roller is made into the required corrugated type. Finally, glue is applied on the corrugated peak (starch adhesive) and bonded with the single-sided corrugated paper to form a single-sided corrugated board. Heating methods of core paper include steam heating, electric heating and oil heating. Single side machined corrugated type can be UV/A, E, C, B, EB or customized according to need.
Principle of action of single side machine
Single machine is the most important of the corrugated carton production equipment, the single machine in the production of semi-finished products corrugated board quality, directly affects the production cost of carton, and the body of the base paper and cardboard box production materials, carton production costs by about 75% from the raw materials, if single machine production of corrugated board nonconforming or defective product, means that the base paper and other waste materials, The increase of production cost, the decline of production profit.
In the current carton industry is generally in the poor market environment of small profits, the good production technology of the single machine, control the performance of equipment and operation technology. It is of great significance to control the quality of raw material, prevent the occurrence of quality problems and improve the rate of semi-finished products of single-side machine.
In the process of rolling corrugated base paper through corrugated roller, due to the centrifugal effect of high-speed operation of corrugated roller, it is easy to make the corrugated base paper off the corrugated roller. And to make corrugated paper is not thrown out, but also to keep close with the tile roll, the use of guide paper or vacuum adsorption device can achieve this purpose.
Guide paper is generally phosphor bronze wear-resistant material, which plays a certain role in ensuring the bonding quality of corrugated board. Therefore, guide paper installation position must be correct, it is installed on a beam. The distance between the guide paper and the guide paper must be consistent with the guide paper groove on the upper corrugated roller and the rubber roller.
The gap between guide paper and the lower corrugated roll should be appropriate, generally within 0.5mm. If the gap is too small, the width of dry fringe will increase; If the gap is too large, corrugated paper will jump lead to poor adhesion. Improper clearance will make corrugated paper has been squeezed and rubbed, and affect the quality of corrugated board, wear and deformation of guide paper to timely replacement.
Now the more advanced single-sided machine does not use the guide paper, but uses the vacuum adsorption method to make the corrugated paper completely attached to the next corrugated roller, it can overcome the shortcomings of the conduction paper, so that the corrugated peak get uniform sizing, more conducive to improving the quality of corrugated board.
